Pilot Plug Interfaces

The AIS Pilot Plug is mandatory (and standarized by IMO) on every SOLAS vessel over 1600 GRT and is an easy way to connect a mobile PC to the on-board AIS system.

 

Y-tronic has developed two solutions for making a connection to the AIS Pilot Plug simple and easy.

Our USB Pilot Plug Interface offers easy and reliable USB connection and has no need for external power supply.

The Bluetooth Pilot Plug Interface adresses the needs of pilots who frequently encounter problems in accessing the Pilot Plug on board due to installation in remote places.

For pilots, the Pilot Port Untangler was developed as a workaround for frequently encountered installation problems with pilot ports on board ship.

For technicians and technical departments we offer a Pilot Port Tester for diagnosis of faulty Pilot Plug installations.

 

Together with our Pilot-AIS Software our Pilot Plug Interfaces are a perfect solution for maritime pilots who want to access AIS data onboard with their laptops.
