EasyAIS - AIS Receiver

The EasyAIS receiver from the german quality AIS manufacturer Weatherdock is a 2-channel multiplex receiver. This 2nd-generation modell offers an improved switching algorithm and a better cable/connector desgin.

The EasyAIS receiver monitors both AIS frequencies by alternating between both channels. This ensures that no AIS data is missed when the reception on one channel is bad.

 

General Description:

The EaysAIS receiver is a great solution at an affordable price. It has a very rugged design and the electronic comes with a special anti-moisture coating to protect it even in harsh marine environments.

The EasyAIS is compatible with any chart/ECS and radar system capable of accepting standard NMEA 0183 AIS sentences. The installation is quick and simple, requiring only the connection to a VHF antenna, GPS antenna and computer (PC). The EasyAIS is the perfect complement to a radar and has an international standardized
interface to various display systems like Electronic Chart Systems (ECS) or radars.
